Leupold

Leupold was founded in 1907, and Fred began his business by manufacturing surveying equipment and scientific instruments along with his brother-in-law, Adam Volpel. Fast-forward to the 1940s and legend has it that the founder's son Marcus went hunting and missed a buck. This led him to produce the Plainsman rifle scope in 1947, which the nitrogen-filled Pioneer followed.
